Saint-Gaudens Footpath by John Clancy
The Picture of the footpath was taken at the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in Cornish, NH. The home and workshop for the world renowned sculpture and bas relief artist Saint-Gaudens. He sculpted Abraham Lincoln and Admiral Farragut (Civil War damn the torpedoes) as well as other notable masterpieces. Also, bas relief pieces such as the Shaw Civil War Memorial in Boston and several US coins plus numerous private commissions. He occupied the home from 1887 - 1907.
