Moonlighting by Bob Ferrante
I was in the right time and the right place to witness these two great blue herons as they bond and build their nest by the light of the moon. Okay, Okay, truth be told, this composite was inspired by the Creative category of the camera club competition for this month. This is my first composite and one of the first times I navigated the scary waters of Photoshop. The herons are from a local rookery in springtime and the stick passing is a bonding moment between the adult birds. The moon was hanging over a lovely bay in Maine and filtered by clouds.
