Watching this Belted Kingfisher catch this big (relatively speaking), fish and then knock in over and over again on a branch to kill it before jockeying it into just the right position to swallow it was almost harrowing! The whole process went on for at least 20 minutes since the fish wasn't going "down" without a fight. at some points I wondered who would prevail! Lucky for the bird, she did. That was one big meal she landed!
